Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a roaster operator to manage and optimize roasting, grinding and packaging activities at our facility. You will operate ground and roasted coffee processes, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and maintain coffee quality while supporting production goals.

The role requires experience with ACRS platforms, strong math and Windows skills, and the ability to follow safety standards and SOPs. Join a global team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and automated production equipment.
• Gathering, recording and reporting on operational and quality metrics.
• Operation of at least three of four ACRS platforms (roasting, grinding, green coffee delivery or roasted coffee delivery).
• Experience in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Performing quality tests using analytical tools.
• High school diploma/GED or US military service.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ground or roasted coffee production process, controls and equipment.
• Maintain GMP/HACCP compliance and monitor quality using analytical tools.
• Meet production throughput targets and document results.
• Coach roaster technicians to support development and training.
• Communicate with manufacturing partners to minimize downtime and manage schedules.
• Support cost reduction and process improvements to reduce downtime and scraps.
