Job summary

JMT seeks an energetic Office Leader for our Roanoke, VA office. The role oversees all aspects of the office, including staffing, business operations, marketing and strategic planning to foster growth in transportation, buildings and facilities, and water, environment and energy markets in Roanoke and surrounding areas.

The position commands a compensation range of $210k–$260k, commensurate with experience, education and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Master's preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer in VA or ability to obtain license.
• 20+ years of industry experience including supervisory, PM and business development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive leader in Roanoke area, guiding strategic plan, team development and operations.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, lead proposals and business development activities.
• Oversee contracts, project finances, staffing forecasts and office facilities.
• Ensure quality and compliance with standards including ISO 9001-2015.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance management and grow the team.
