Job summary

Sand Hospitality LLC. is seeking a Task Force General Manager to provide leadership and support to properties during transitions or needs. You will direct all hotel functions in line with company policies, aiming for guest, employee, and owner satisfaction plus revenue goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of General Manager experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management preferred; 5+ years GM experience a plus.
• Supervisory experience over 25+ associates.
• Willing to travel to properties; frequent travel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and analyze performance data.
• Implement brand and service strategy to exceed guest expectations and drive revenue.
• Recruit, hire, train and coach property staff.
• Lead yield management discussions with Revenue Manager to maximize RevPAR.
• Ensure budget adherence and control expenses across the property.
• Leverage loyalty and sales programs for corporate and third-party bookings.
• Respond to guest feedback, resolve issues, and strengthen guest relationships.
• Communicate with VP and Hotel Leadership Team; promote teamwork and goals.
• Maintain cash controls and internal controls; train staff accordingly.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure timely financial reporting and collections.
• Conduct routine property inspections for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Enforce safety and security procedures across the property.
• Partner with HR and department managers for leadership development.
• Engage with local community to build relationships.
• All other duties as assigned.
