Job summary

Qualifications

• At least six (6) months of verifiable, paid, journeyman-level welder experience, directly related to the work described above.
• A verifiable training credential from an NCCER Welding program or an American Welding Society (AWS) SENSE program (or other verifiable professional certification in an AWS Welding program). Proof of training is required.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and fabricate from drawings.
• Perform welding for maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, including layout, cutting and fitting, brazing, brushing, chipping and grinding.
• Maintain and make minor repairs to welding equipment and estimate time and materials for a job.
