Job summary

CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT, L.L.C. is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee roadway, utilities, and site work inspections throughout all construction phases.

The role ensures adherence to plans and specifications while maintaining professional relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and the public. The position requires attention to detail, plan-reading ability, and at least two years of inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• 2 years of experience inspecting utilities, electrical, waterline and roadway construction.
• Basic knowledge of roadway construction methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of roadway construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor materials and workmanship to verify quality standards are met, including soil compaction, asphalt paving, concrete placement, and drainage systems.
• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of construction progress and any deviations from specifications.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address and resolve construction issues or non-compliance.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
• Perform other duties as required
