Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED plus three years of related work experience.
  • Obtain and maintain safety and work zone certifications within six months of hire.
  • Valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license and ability to drive county vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and issues road work permits per MUTCD guidelines.
  • Performs field inspections of road cuts and restoration work.
  • Collects GPS data of traffic devices and inputs into work order system.
  • Coordinates with agencies for permit issuance and regulatory updates.
  • Maintains records and prepares reports on compliance and inspections.
