Bring your skills and experience as a Roadway Technician to Maricopa County!
In this role, you will work with a team dedicated to ensuring public services are provided promptly, efficiently, and safely. You will be operating County equipment and vehicles that will help construct and maintain roads and other related structures. You will also install and maintain roadway traffic control for construction zones in accordance with the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) and County procedures and quality standards.

Working Conditions
The employee in this position may be required to lift or exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50-100 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds constantly. Work may be performed in an office, outdoors, or from inside a vehicle. The employee may be subjected to extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, respiratory hazards, noise, and vibration. Additionally, they may encounter moving mechanical parts, fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel. The employee must be comfortable using various tools, light and heavy equipment, machinery, and computer programs, and must meet OSHA and MCDOT Safety Standards.
