Job summary

TRP Infrastructure Services in Texas is seeking a general laborer to support traffic control sign production and related duties. You will operate sign fabrication equipment, read layouts, assemble substrates, and inspect finished signage to ensure quality.

Candidate should have experience in sign production or general labor; CDL is a plus but not required. Availability for overtime, weekend work, and some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor or traffic control sign production.
• Ability to operate a Bobcat or skid steer.
• Ability to mix concrete and dig holes by hand.
• Ability to read work orders and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce traffic control and roadway signs to layouts, specifications, schedules, and TxDOT requirements.
• Operate sign printing, cutting, laminating, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read work orders and sign layouts, and select substrates, reflective sheeting, and other materials.
• Inspect completed signs for dimensions, color, alignment, finish, and overall quality.
• Operate a Bobcat or other skid steer and perform general labor tasks.
• Use hand augers, post hole diggers, and breaker bars; mix concrete and occasionally dig holes by hand.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in safe condition, and follow company safety procedures and shop requirements.
• Track production quantities and material or inventory usage as required.
• Assist with packaging, staging, and preparing completed signs for shipment.
