Parsons is seeking an experienced Roadway Project Manager in the United States. You will lead complex roadway projects, mentor teams, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and client requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license with 10+ years of related experience. This full-time role entails managing budgets, schedules, and client relations within a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of the assigned project.
• Forecasts monthly revenue, labor costs, and gross profit for the term of the project.
• Responsible for project invoicing, accounts receivable and payable.
• Oversees Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, QA/QC Plan and other documents.
• Establishes project requirements and monitors deliverables for adherence to criteria.
• Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates.
• Monitors and negotiates changes to the scope of work with client and subcontractors.
• Markets and secures additional work with client.
• Develops action plans to rectify cost overruns or delays and advises clients.
• Maintains current change orders.
• Promotes QA processes to achieve technical and commercial excellence.
• Monitors and reports progress to management on milestones and cost/schedule.
• Acts as Company representative with client and subcontractors.
• Participates in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings.
• Participates in proposals and client meetings; identifies business development opportunities.
• Maintains knowledge of project pipeline for key clients.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking forward to hiring an experienced Roadway Project Manager! In this role, you will be trained and mentored under supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices and gain valuable exposure to company standards and exciting projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.

• Forecasts monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit for the term of the project.

• Responsible for project invoicing and billing including all accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Oversees establishment of Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.

• Establishes the project requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.

• Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.

• Monitors and negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.

• Markets and secures additional work with client.

• Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of changes.

• Responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.

• Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.

• Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.

• Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.

• May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.

• Participates in proposal development on project pursuits, client meetings and client presentations.

• Identifies business development opportunities, marketing events, and maintain current knowledge of project pipeline for key clients.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
