Job summary

Dodge County is seeking a Highway Maintenance Foreman to oversee road crews, plan daily work, and ensure safety compliance across maintenance and construction tasks in Dodge County, WI. The role requires strong leadership, training ability, and precise documentation of project progress.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or better, 5 years of road construction experience with heavy equipment, and a valid Class A CDL with N endorsement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better required.
• Pre-employment drug test and criminal background check required.
• Valid Class A CDL with N endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Oversees crews on road construction, maintenance, and related operations.
• Directs work, provides training, assigns tasks, and evaluates performance.
• Ensures staff training on equipment and safety procedures.
• Plans maintenance, secures supplies, and maintains project records.
• Maintains safety standards and complies with MUTCD and WiDOT requirements.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies and coordinates equipment maintenance.
• Keeps daily reports on materials, costs, status, and incidents.
