Job summary

MoDOT is seeking an entry- to senior-level Maintenance Worker in Silva, MO. Responsibilities include routine highway and facility maintenance under supervision, with opportunities for career advancement within CAREER-LADDER tracks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Completion of CDL exams with tanker endorsement and no air brake restrictions within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems, including filling joints/cracks, patching potholes, flagging traffic, setting up signs and traffic control devices.
• Repair and maintain highway facilities, signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, and equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and materials; plow snow; spread ice control materials; perform rural mowing and use heavy machinery.
