• Maintains state highway systems, including filling joints and cracks, patching potholes, flagging, directing traffic, and setting up traffic control devices.
• Maintains, cleans, and repairs highway facilities, including signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, and buildings; services equipment and machinery.
• Operates vehicles to transport employees, equipment, and materials, assists with snow plowing and ice control materials, and may use a variety of heavy equipment.
• May repair bridge decks and drains and install/maintain signs at various heights; may work at heights using ladders or scaffolding.
