Cameron County is seeking a Road CrewmAn to perform maintenance, repair, or construction of road and drainage infrastructure in Texas. The role involves operating manual and hand tools, routine maintenance, and recording repair actions and documents.

Responsibilities include road maintenance, brush cutting, paving assistance, drainage work, flagging traffic, and equipment maintenance. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver's license; two years' related experience

Qualifications

• Two years of road maintenance or construction experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver license required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs road maintenance, brush cutting, trimming and trash removal.
• Assists paving crew in construction of roads and drainage improvements.
• Patches roadways and assists in drainage work and utility tasks.
• Operates flagging vehicles to direct traffic for public safety.
• Maintains department documents and repair records.
