Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking maintenance workers for the St. Louis District. The role covers routine highway and facility maintenance under direct supervision, with opportunities for progression through MoDOT's CAREER-LADDER program.

Responsibilities include pothole patching, traffic control, sign maintenance, and equipment operation. You may perform outdoor work in varying conditions, including overtime or night shifts, with CDL and examinations required for hire.

Formación

• Minimum requirements include High School Diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• CDL exam written pass is required prior to hire; tanker endorsement, no air brake restrictions (Class B), interstate status within 60 days after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains state highway systems including pothole patching, traffic control, signs, and debris removal.
• Maintains and repairs highway facilities and equipment including signs, guardrails, curbs, buildings, and machinery.
• Operates vehicles and equipment to transport personnel and materials and to apply snow/ice control materials; may mow and use various heavy machinery.
• May repair bridge decks and drains, install and maintain signs, and perform sign-related welding or repairing tasks.
• May work overtime or nights and respond to emergencies as needed.
