Qualifications

• CDL/Class A license within six months of placement.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• No minimum training or experience required for this classification.
• May require extended working hours or 12-hour shifts.
• Exposure to outside environment in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5 yard dump truck to haul materials (asphalt, limestone, dirt, soil, cement, pipe).
• Perform manual repairs of potholes and base surface failures using hand tools.
• Operate a forklift for loading/unloading materials.
• Build catch basins, pour curbs, lay pipes for driveways and drainage structures.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining traffic control in maintenance zones.
• Support emergency and inclement weather operations; may work nights/weekends.
