Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A or B CDL with no air brake restriction and tanker endorsement, or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• One year of experience in snow/ice, soils, road surface maintenance, roadside maintenance, or related activities.
• Education can substitute: Heavy Equipment Operation & Maintenance program may replace one year of experience.
• Must pass background and drug checks and be able to report to work as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily road surface and roadside maintenance to MnDOT standards.
• Assist in snow and ice control to keep roadways safe and clear.
• Operate and maintain basic roadwork equipment and perform routine inspections.
• Provide traffic control and report inventory data for reporting.
