Job summary

The Town of Marana seeks a Maintenance Associate II to join the Traffic Division of the Public Works Department. This full-time role involves manual labor in maintenance and construction tasks, within a fast-paced environment that supports the community’s health and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Over one year of traffic control or street construction/maintenance experience.
• Valid Arizona Driver License.
• Obtain temporary traffic control certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of traffic control signage and pavement markings.
• Inspects, cleans and maintains trucks and equipment; reports mechanical issues.
• Operates a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Uses asset software to track work orders and supplies.
