Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with N endorsement or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Knowledge of MUTCD traffic control practices and safety standards.
• Experience operating highway maintenance equipment and performing repairs.
• Ability to lead crewmembers in the absence of a supervisor.
• Proficiency with agency timekeeping and maintenance systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A,B, and C highway maintenance equipment and vehicles.
• Repair and maintain pavement, drainage, signs, and guardrails.
• Perform vegetation management, erosion control, and debris removal.
• Provide safety training and direction to crew when leading tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with partner agencies as needed.
