Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Emergency Operations: Operate and maintain light and medium-duty equipment to perform maintenance and construction work tasks.
• Prepare and operate equipment for snow and ice removal or other emergencies; clear roadways and provide traffic control.
• Operate light, medium, and heavy-duty highway equipment and vehicles for maintenance and construction tasks.
• Apply work zone safety techniques and maintain a safe work environment per regulations.
• Use MUTCD standards for detours, lane closures, and work zones; maintain records and inventory.
