The Department of Transportation in Oracle, AZ is hiring a Highway and Construction Laborer to join our highway operations team. The role covers motorized vehicle operation, pavement and landscape maintenance, and safety compliance in a demanding environment.

Positions range from entry-level Highway Operations Worker to Tech 3, with increasing duties, leadership responsibilities, and schedule coordination. Eligible for a $4,000 hiring incentive and the standard state benefits package.

Formación

• 6 months of roadway/highway experience preferred for entry-level roles.
• Arizona CDL Class A permit must be obtained within 90 days from hire; Class A license within 6 months.
• CDL with tanker endorsement may be required prior to start date.

Responsabilidades

• Operate motorized vehicles and equipment; pavement care and preservation.
• Landscape care, roadside shoulder restoration and repairs; signing and striping.
• Schedule, supervise, and train staff as you advance in the series.
