Greenwood County is seeking a Road Department Supervisor to manage crews and oversee daily road maintenance tasks. You will ensure safety, compliance and quality across projects, and coordinate with utilities and law enforcement when required.

The role requires a CDL-A and a minimum of four years in road maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on safety and timely delivery of repairs and improvements.

Competenze

• Four (4) years of experience in road maintenance and repair or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and road maintenance standards.

Mansioni

• Supervise and coordinate daily road maintenance operations and crews.
• Review work for accuracy, completeness and safety compliance.
• Schedule maintenance, inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect roads, patches and resurfaces; manage traffic control and safety.
• Prepare reports, work orders and incident documentation.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and coordinate with utilities as needed.
