Job summary

Responsibilities

• Emergency Operations: Operate and maintain light and medium-duty equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Emergency Operations: Prepare equipment for snow removal and other emergencies; provide traffic control.
• Equipment Operations: Operate high/low speed highway equipment for maintenance and repair.
• Job Safety: Protect work zones, wear PPE, and follow OSHA/VOSH and MUTCD guidelines.
• Manual Labor: Work as part of the crew to complete projects using hand and power tools.
• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic repairs as needed.
