Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Michigan driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Experience in engineering duties is preferred; CDL with air brake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on routine permit projects and assist higher-level staff.
• Conduct field and laboratory testing of aggregates and materials.
• Assist survey team using a level, tapes, and stakes.
• Draft and compute varied engineering tasks.
• Maintain department records and maps.
• Work mandatory overtime and respond to call-out procedures.
