Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a technical field such as concrete, civil or surveying technology, construction management, mathematics or computer science.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Applied Science/Science or related field preferred for upper levels.
• Valid driver’s license required for field reviews.
• Certifications in bituminous, concrete, density testing, or aggregate are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and quality control inspection activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Review and document project records and ensure ROW permits are performed to standards.
• Perform engineering technical support including materials testing, inspection, and compliance activities.
• Design technical/drafting work for roads, bridges, and related facilities; support traffic safety analyses.
