Job summary

Parrish & Partners, LLC seeks a Roadway Engineer for our Raleigh, NC office. You will work on interstate/interchanges, widening, bridges and new location projects, coordinating with design staff and other disciplines.

Requirements include a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, 8+ years in roadway design for NCDOT/local municipalities, and proficiency with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and GEOPAK.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years’ experience in roadway design for NCDOT and local municipalities.
• Proficiency with AASHTO and NCDOT guidelines, standards and specs.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, GEOPAK/Corridor Modeling.
• NCDOT highway design experience and project management with NCDOT.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing project data.
• Leading or assisting in the design and development of roadway plans, specs, design calculations, and technical documents.
• Calculating quantities and developing cost estimates.
• Producing a complete plan set.
• Working with other design disciplines.
