Parsons is hiring a Roadway Engineer I for our Savannah, Georgia office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with senior engineers and use Civil3D, Geopak or OpenRoads to produce designs and calculations for roadway projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 3 years of related experience, with EIT preferred. Strong teamwork and communication are essential, and the position sits in our Critical Infrastructure team.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience on road and highway projects.
• EIT certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a design team.

Job Description

Parsons is now hiring a Roadway Engineer I to join our Savannah, Georgia office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects!

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate often with senior engineers, perform various roadway engineering and design assignments requiring the application of engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity

• Utilize drafting and modeling software, tools, and programs, to develop conceptual and detailed designs

• Perform design calculations including material quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates

• Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects

• Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)

• 3 years or more of related work experience with road and highway projects

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred

• Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads, is required

• The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
