Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm, is seeking a Roadway Engineer to join the Transportation team in Sanford or Tampa, FL. You will lead the design and implementation of roadway projects and produce detailed drawings and documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of transportation experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D or OpenRoads Designer; EIT or PE is preferred. The role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Roadway Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative Transportation team in Sanford or Tampa, FL!

Duties Include

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for roadway projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct analyses and tests to validate designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, and status updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of experience providing engineering support for transportation projects
• Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer
• Engineer in training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
