HDR is seeking a Kansas City Roadway Intern to gain real-world experience in transportation engineering. You will assist in creating technical reports, plans, specifications and calculations under the guidance of a senior Engineer.

As part of HDR’s employee‑owned culture, you’ll connect with mentors and participate in young professionals’ programs while developing essential design and planning skills for urban and rural roadway projects.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gain real-world experience by applying standard engineering techniques through reports, plans, specifications and calculations.
• Assist with detailed roadway designs under supervision.
• Engage with recent grads and company leaders through mentoring programs.
• Apply standard planning techniques and procedures.
• Assist with transportation planning efforts in all modes.
• Perform other duties as needed.
