Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Roadway) to join our Transportation team in Fort Worth for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience on large-scale infrastructure projects and learn industry-standard procedures and software.

You will work on roadway design tasks, assist in reports, and collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, and Project Managers to deliver transportation solutions with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Completed coursework related to transportation engineering or roadway design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic highway/roadway geometric design calculations.
• Support preparation of technical reports and design documentation.
• Utilize CAD software to prepare drawings, layouts, and models per standards.
• Performs other duties assigned by Roadway Group Leadership and team members.
