Job summary

Garver, LLC in Frisco, Texas, is seeking a Civil Engineering Transportation Intern to support roadway design tasks and learn from a professional team.

You will participate in plan prep, study DOT standards, and gain hands-on experience with MicroStation, Inroads/OpenRoads, and CulvertMaster/FlowMaster. This in-office internship offers mentoring through Garver Launch and exposure to a busy design studio.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in transportation engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable and responsible individual.
• Previous internship experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in plan preparation and design with the team.
• Become familiar with DOT standards for highway design.
• Learn and utilize MicroStation, Inroads/OpenRoads, and CulvertMaster/FlowMaster.
• Contribute as a strong team player within the design team.
