Job summary

USI Consultants, Inc., an Indiana-based civil engineering and surveying firm, seeks a self-motivated Transportation Engineer to join our Roadway Design Team throughout Indiana. We are looking for a candidate who is well-organized and able to perform road design engineering duties.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transportation and roadway design, plan development, public presentation, specification writing, drainage and quantity calculations, cost estimating, utility coordination, permitting, and technical report writing.
• Work on Local Public Agency and INDOT projects, individually or as part of a team.
• Effectively communicate project status to the Road Design Team and clients.
• Assist in recruiting new talent and contribute to a positive company culture.
