You will support roadway design for INDOT, cities, and counties, perform quantity takeoffs, create plan sets, and assist with cost estimates while learning from a close-knit team.

You'll gain hands-on experience across a range of transportation projects, with training, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth within the firm throughout Indiana.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 0–4 years of relevant experience, such as internships, co-ops, academic projects, or entry-level engineering roles.
• Interest in roadway design and transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and layout of roadway alignments, both horizontal and vertical, for real-world transportation projects.
• Get involved in key aspects of roadway design, including geometry, drainage, signage, pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic.
• Help develop construction plan sets, gaining experience in how projects are prepared for bidding and construction.
• Perform quantity calculations to support bid plan development and construction cost estimates.
• Explore additional areas like pavement analysis, design, and utility coordination for a well-rounded experience.
• Take on a variety of project support tasks, learning how transportation engineering projects come to life from concept to construction.
• Other duties as assigned
