Job summary

Ferrovial Construction US Corp. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on roadway design and transportation infrastructure. You will work with experienced engineers on highway design, plan production, and project coordination across disciplines.

Ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in civil/transportation engineering, may have EIT, and is proficient with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and GEOPAK. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field is required.
• EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with roadway design, transportation engineering, or related project work is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Roadway design and plan production for highway projects under guidance of engineers.
• Assist with in-house designs from concept to final design for construction.
• Review consultant designs with senior team members and ensure design compliance.
• Support roadway design standards and coordination with drainage, structures, geotech, utilities, and construction.
• Assist with field observation and project coordination to deliver timely deliverables.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
