Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Civil Engineering applied to highway design and maintenance.
• Understanding of federal/state regulations related to project development.
• Ability to manage public participation, consultants, and project coordination.
• Experience with project budgets and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop or oversee roadway designs, construction plans and details.
• Lead design teams, coordinate scope, schedule and budget.
• Review engineering plans, reports and contractor documents for compliance.
• Mentor interns and new designers; participate in staff meetings and training.
• Ensure compliance with ADA documentation and design guidelines.
