Job summary

Stantec seeks a Project Designer or Project EIT, Roadway to join the Mid-Atlantic team in Charleston, WV or Bridgeport, WV. The role involves developing roadway designs, collaborating with teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will have a civil engineering degree and at least three years in transportation design, with knowledge of WVDOH/VDOT directives and software such as MicroStation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of transportation design experience.
• Familiarity with WVDOH and AASHTO design directives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze engineering designs to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate technical concepts to achieve client goals.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and completing projects with proper scope, time, and quality management.
