Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Civil Engineer to design roadway system improvements and related structures under senior guidance. You will prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates while performing technical studies and drafting Project Reports.

The role requires a CA PE license, 3+ years in roadway design, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, plus familiarity with Caltrans standards. Mentoring junior staff is also a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in roadway design projects.
• Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design-related software.
• Experience using roadway design standards such as Caltrans Highway Design Manual and MUTCD.

Responsibilities

• Design roadway system improvements and related transportation structures under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
• Prepare plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports.
• Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts.
• Oversee and mentor entry-level staff.
