Job summary

American Structurepoint's Road Engineering Group seeks an entry-level Staff Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 0--4 years of relevant experience, such as internships, co-ops, academic projects, or entry-level engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and layout of roadway alignments, both horizontal and vertical.
• Get involved in key aspects of roadway design, including geometry, drainage, signage, pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic.
• Help develop construction plan sets, gaining experience in how projects are prepared for bidding and construction.
• Perform quantity calculations to support bid plan development and construction cost estimates.
• Explore additional areas like pavement analysis, design, and utility coordination for a well‑rounded experience.
• Take on a variety of project support tasks, learning how transportation engineering projects come to life from concept to construction.
• Other duties as assigned
