Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Roadway Engineer (EIT) to join its Atlanta-area roadway design team in Duluth, GA. You will prepare roadway design plans, develop horizontal and vertical alignments, and support projects for GDOT, counties and municipalities across Georgia.

Ideal candidates have 1–8+ years of roadway design experience, hands-on experience with ORD/MicroStation/AutoCAD Civil 3D, and an EIT or PE track.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain PE license.
1-5+ years of roadway design experience.
Experience with OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

Prepare roadway design plans for state and local transportation projects.
Develop horizontal and vertical alignments using OpenRoads Designer.
Assist with roadway geometry, drainage coordination, grading, and plan production.
Support design-build projects involving highway widening and interchange improvements.
Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Participate in project meetings and client coordination efforts.
Assist with quantity calculations, engineering reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
Work on transportation projects for DOT, county, and municipal clients throughout Georgia.
