Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway Design Coordinator in Anchorage, Alaska, to join a team of project engineers. You will develop detailed designs for urban and rural roadways using Civil3D, prepare calculations and reports, and contribute to construction estimates.

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office, are highly valued as HDR advances its employee-owned

EIT certificate preferred.
Spring graduations considered.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Work with a team of project engineers on detailed design of urban and rural infrastructure projects.
Prepare calculations, reports, memos, cost estimates, and other documentation.
Take responsibility for alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, and construction estimates.
Design work using Civil3D, including horizontal/vertical alignment and drainage calculations.
Assist with creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver transportation projects.
