Job summary

LeoForce in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Mid Level Roadway Design Engineer to design and manage a wide range of roadway projects—from intersections to interchanges—working with a collaborative team. You will develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and client liaison, while mentoring junior staff and guiding design/drafting efforts using CAD and NCDOT/FHWA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Roadway design experience with working knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Highway Design and the FHWA Roadway Design Manual
• Familiarity with NCDOT design and CAD criteria and experience applying them in plans development

Responsibilities

• Design and assist in managing roadway projects including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges
• Interface with clients and support the Project Manager in maintaining client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

• Design and assist in managing roadway projects including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges
• Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, project plans, and maintaining project schedules
• Interface with clients and support the Project Manager in maintaining client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters
