Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer in Raleigh, NC to design and manage roadway projects across interstates, interchanges, and arterial streets. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to project scopes, budgets, and schedules while interfacing with clients and supporting the Project Manager.

Job Details

• Design and assist in managing roadway projects including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges


• Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, project plans, and maintaining project schedules


• Interface with clients and support the Project Manager in maintaining client relationships


• Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters

Requirements

• Roadway design experience with working knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Highway Design and the FHWA Roadway Design Manual


• Familiarity with NCDOT design and CAD criteria and experience applying them in plans development
