Ferrovial Construction is seeking an entry‑level Roadway Design EIT to support highway design and plan production for civil infrastructure projects in the United States. You will learn company standards, assist with plan development, quantities, and field observations under licensed engineers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design teams, attention to detail, and growing proficiency in roadway design software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain it preferred.
• Internship/co-op experience in roadway design or civil infrastructure is preferred.
• Familiarity with roadway design software such as MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer/AutoCAD/GEOPAK is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with basic highway design tasks and roadway plan production under guidance.
• Develop roadway design plans, exhibits, layouts, and related documents.
• Support design activities for civil infrastructure projects, mainly during Design & Build phases.
• Make revisions to plans based on sketches and project direction.
• Review specifications and project requirements for assigned tasks.
• Prepare quantity estimates and assist with basic quantity checks.
• Provide general technical support to project teams under guidance.
