Job summary

Brudis & Associates, Inc. seeks a full-time Roadway Construction Inspector/Construction Manager to oversee a roadway project in Harford County, MD. Responsibilities include daily inspections, coordination with utilities and stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive project records.

The candidate will lead progress meetings, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and monitor safety programs. At least 3 years in highway inspection and strong documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of highway construction inspection experience.
• Experience with erosion and sediment control, earthwork, and storm drainage.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and contract specifications.
• Proficient in documenting daily construction inspections and preparing reports.
• Effective communication with Owner, Stakeholders and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document contractor work daily with written and photographic records.
• Perform full-time, detailed inspections to ensure quality workmanship per contract.
• Coordinate traffic control and utility coordination with stakeholders.
• Maintain neat, accurate records of contract items and quantities.
• Lead progress meetings and review safety programs with contractors.
