Job summary

Brudis & Associates, Inc. is looking for a Senior Trackwork Inspector to support the Maryland Transit Administration's statewide capital construction program. The role is critical for ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality in rail infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in trackwork inspection, strong knowledge of AREMA and FRA standards, and the ability to handle compliance and safety coordination. Full-time contract position with excellent benefits and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of documented experience in trackwork inspection or rail construction management.
• Deep familiarity with AREMA standards and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Track Safety Standards.
• Ability to walk long distances along active rail right-of-ways and work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive on-site inspections of trackwork installations.
• Monitor contractor execution for compliance with approved contract drawings and safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed daily inspector reports tracking labor hours and equipment usage.
