Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent is required.
• CI I has no experience; CI II requires 1 year of experience.
• Related substitutions allowed for minimum qualifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a state vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review construction procedures, monitor testing and materials.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, resident project representatives and contractors’ superintendents on progress and issues.
• Monitor phasing, traffic control plans, and safety standards on active projects.
• Document work progress and issues throughout the project.
