Centro Escolar University in Miami, FL is offering an internship with Roads & Highways Engineering teams. You will provide administrative and operations support, assist in roadway plan production tasks, and perform drafting using CAD tools under detailed instructions.

The program targets a junior civil engineering student (ABET-accredited) with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifications

• No experience required if accepted into a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field
• Must be a Junior pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (preferred)

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Provide administrative and operations support to Roads & Highways Engineering staff
• Collaborate with engineers on Roadway plan production tasks
• Perform simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments following detailed instructions
• Assist in the compilation of design data and the preparation of construction plans

About You

The company is looking for:
