Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• Four years of progressively responsible engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, modeling and results presentation.
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce design plans and specifications for urban and rural roadways, including grading, erosion control, and stormwater management.
• Prepare civil design calculations, high-level technical designs, drainage reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with city, county, and state authorities to apply design criteria and approvals.
