Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs catch basins, drainage structures, and drainage pipes.
• Works on construction, repair, and preservation of bridges.
• Performs vegetation management with powered hand tools; chain saws, weed eaters, backpack sprayers.
• Picks up litter, debris, and dead animals.
• Places traffic control devices; acts as a flagger to direct traffic.
• Repairs asphalt and concrete pavement using hand or pneumatic tools and compaction equipment.
• Assists with installing and repairing traffic signs, markings, and guardrails.
• May work in emergency or inclement weather; possible extended hours or 12-hour shifts.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
