Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking Inspectors to apply standard inspection procedures on roadway and bridge construction in South Carolina, ensuring quality, safety and conformance to plans and specifications.

This full-time role is field-based in Spartanburg and surrounding SC locations, with travel to sites as needed. The position offers training, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative environment focused on safety and quality.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• SCDOT certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months are preferred.
• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.

Aufgaben

• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.
• Performs routine tests on concrete, soils and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement to ensure compliance to plans and codes.
• Gathers and maintains record documents.
• Makes field notes and computations.

Ausbildung
