Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking Inspectors to apply standard inspection procedures on ongoing roadway and bridge construction projects in South Carolina, ensuring quality, safety and conformance to plans.

This full-time role involves field work, data recording, tests on concrete and soils, and travel to sites as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with SCDOT certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted for experience).
• SCDOT certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
• Performs routine tests on concrete, soils and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement to ensure compliance to plans and codes.
• Gathers and maintains record documents.
• Makes field notes and computations.
